Child Protection Online Training Courses

These online courses are at two levels:

1. Basic Child Protection Awareness level 2 - Designed for any adult who interacts with children as part of a job function or voluntary function, such as youth leader, school ancillary staff, shop assistants.
2. Child Protection Practice level 3 - Designed for any adult who works with children in a professional capacity such as a teacher, child care officer, child care nurse.

These child protection courses meet the guidance of
UK BORDER AGENCY CODE OF PRACTICE FOR KEEPING CHILDREN SAFE FROM HARM (2007).

• GSCC (General Social Care Council) compliant
• CQC (Care Quality Commission), CSCI (Commission for Social Care Inspection) compliant

The content of these online courses is relevant to:

• the Children Act 1989, which legislates for England and Wales
• the Children (Northern Ireland) Order 1995
• the Children (Scotland) Act 1995.
