Why do you charge a re-assessment administration fee?

There is a clear educational rationale for charging an administration fee to re-take final assessments.

- it covers the administration costs of re-setting access to courses and enabling learners to re-take assessment.
- it provides an incentive to learners to study and only take assessments once learning has taken place.

If learners were allowed to re-sit final assessments over and over, there would be little or no learning, meaning the quality of learning would be significantly reduced.

We do pride ourselves on developing and delivering high quality learning and assessment that equips learners with the knowledge required to practise safely.
